3exile is a travel blog, with photos. It focusses on places that are within easy reach, but have somehow ended up slightly out of reach all the same. I have never travelled for the sake of it – I’ve never ‘done’ South America, have never been to to India to find myself and have never been somewhere to tick it off the list. This isn’t a blog about a gap year, or some hugely impressive-sounding journey across half the world. It’s about travel as a part of life; the difference between there and then and here and now. I have been to some interesting, strange places – some for work (computers, if you want to know), some for an adventure, and some that never seemed that strange when I booked the plane tickets.
